Q: What was the deciding factor that helped you become a Personal Training client?
A: I wanted the guidance of a Certified Trained Professional that could help me achieve my goals while not re-injuring my knee or shoulder. During my initial “interview” the Personal Training Manager really demonstrated to me in a professional way what can be accomplished safely.
Q: How long have you been a Fight Club Personal Training Client?
A: Since Jan 26, 2015
Q: What is your overall feeling about Training here at Fight Club?
A: It’s different than your normal glitz and glam gym. Your surrounded by people working towards a goal whether that’s weight loss up active competition, very inspiring to be around on a consistent basis. That attitude is different than your normal “water cooler” gym that center more around what your wearing than getting results.
Working with my trainer Steve has really gotten me further in a short amount of time than where I ever thought I could be. His ability to bring out my best is unparalleled in various previous gym experiences. At the end of the day its someone with a friendly positive attitude in my corner helping to guide and answer all my questions, getting the best results possible.
Q: Describe what part of you experience training here has made you the happiest?
A: Having everything I was told in my initial interview come true through hard work and dedication! When I started out on this journey I was not able to complete numerous exercises with any type of repetition or consistency, despite my best effort. And now not only am I doing the things I couldn’t do just 90 days ago, but I’ve gotten the confidence to start and complete more advanced workout routines maximizing the one on one time with the trainer pushing it to the limit each time we meet. Its also given me the motivation to make certain life changes I never would have previously, biggest thing has been making the commitment to myself and following through on my diet.
Q: Describe some of the most important benefits you’ve received by training with us?
A: Diet, Diet, Diet, its been the biggest adjustment I’ve made. It’s been the most influential and timely help the entire staff has helped guide me with. In my 1st 90 days I lost 32lbs through hard work and dedication while not giving it all back during breakfast, lunch and dinner. While I still would like to loose more and work towards new goals, I know today that I have the tools and confidence to continue on that road knowing whats been accomplished recently. Also in general I’m a happier person having gotten rid of the work days frustrations at the gym combined with a healthier life style at home.
Q: Please explain specifically what you’ve gained from your experience here?
A: Having never boxed previously, I’ve learned that I really like it. Being a competitive person, boxing allows me to get it out of my system while learning a new sport and getting into shape. Not realizing the combination of Stamina, Power and Speed required to do it correctly, its helped open up a new avenue to get fit and keep it interesting. As a person that’s tried numerous things over the years to stay in shape, ultimately failing due to various reason but most notably because of boredom with the same routine day after day. Fight Club keeps it fresh and interactive allowing you to experience different things on a consistent basis. Also I’ve learned that there is new and interesting methods to work out that do not require endless hours in the gym.
